Vegetarian today?
This delicious veggie burger with mushroom patty brings variety to your meat-free days.
With bulgur as the basic ingredient and well-seasoned mushrooms as a flavor carrier, this vegetarian burger patty goes particularly well with parsley and classic burger toppings such as ketchup, mustard and red onions.
That's how it's done:
You need these ingredients:
For the mushrooms:
6 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp onions, diced
1 garlic clove, chopped
300 g mushrooms, sliced
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
For the patty:
60 g bulgur, cooked
1 handful of parsley
40 g breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
15 grams of mustard
4 tbsp olive oil
To prove:
mustard (to taste)
ketchup (to taste)
parsley (to taste)
onion rings (to taste)
The preparation is so easy:
For the mushrooms:
Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and sauté the garlic and onions.
Then add the mushrooms and pour the remaining olive oil over them.
Season with salt and pepper.
Fry the mushrooms until they are nicely browned.
For the patty:
In a large bowl, mix the bulgur with half the sautéed mushrooms, parsley, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce and mustard.
Form two burger patties from the specified amount and fry them in 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
Top your burger with mustard, ketchup, parsley, onion rings and your wonderfully hearty and vegetarian mushroom patty.
