Second decision in two days of Arcom (ex-CSA) concerning "Do not touch my post".
After having launched a sanction procedure against C8 on Thursday about the altercation between Louis Boyard and Cyril Hanouna, the audiovisual regulator this Friday looked into the handling of the Lola affair in the daily talk show of the channel of the Canal+ group.
In his viewfinder, several sequences on this news item broadcast on Cyril Hanouna's show in October.
On the air, the star of C8 had notably demanded an "immediate trial" and "direct life" for the main suspect in the murder of the young girl.
In the heat of the moment, he had also denied her the right to lawyers — "for me, she has no right to a defence" — or to be recognized as having impaired discernment at the time of the facts: "Crazy or not crazy, she must be in jail.
She doesn't need to be treated.

The host's comments immediately created controversy.
A few days later, the Minister of Justice, Éric Dupond-Moretti, castigated in "C à vous", on France 5, a "negation of the rule of law" and a return to the "Middle Ages".
Reported to Arcom by viewers, the statements of Hanouna had caused the automatic opening of an investigation.
No financial penalty
In its decision this Friday, the audiovisual regulator considers that these sequences of “Do not touch my post” reflect “a breach” by C8 of its “obligation to deal with an ongoing legal case with measure”.
He also regrets that Cyril Hanouna was able "to express his opinion at length without a quick and effective contradiction being opposed to him".
According to Arcom, C8 has thus violated its "obligation to respect the expression of different points of view on the air on a controversial subject".
It consequently imposes on the channel a formal notice, a warning which is not accompanied by a financial penalty.
