(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 18 - Ukrainian President Zelensky declared that over 10 million Ukrainians are without electricity, while winter advances in the country, with temperatures expected to drop to -10 next week.
Approximately half of all national users have been left without electricity, around 21 million people in total.
There is already snow in Kiev and the governor of the region, OleksiïKuleba, said that next week will be "difficult", implicitly inviting the population to prepare by stocking up on food and water and limiting travel.
Meanwhile, the national electricity operator Ukrenergo has announced the extension of power outages due to the "worsening situation".
