The following materials are required for this:
A small aquarium, but alternatively a smaller transparent container will suffice
An organic quality Spirulina culture
For harvesting a ladle and a sieve
Minerals that contribute to the growth of algae
1. Place the aquarium in a bright place so that the algae can get plenty of light.
It should also be warm enough at the place, i.e. at least 20 degrees Celsius.
2. Prepare the water by adding filtered water with a temperature of about 35 degrees Celsius to the container.
It should be free of chlorine.

3. Add the spirulina starter culture to the aquarium and watch it grow.
Over time, the algae grow thicker and larger.
A basic pH value of around 10 is ideal for rapid growth. The mixture should be stirred from time to time.
4. After about three to six weeks, you can harvest for the first time: To do this, scoop off the desired amount with a ladle or spoon and pass the mixture through a fine sieve or kitchen towel.
5. Now you can spice up smoothies, bowls or other food and drinks with the green paste.
