For years Donald Glover worked in the industry as a screenwriter ("Rock 30"), an actor ("Community") and a rapper (Childish Gambino), and was not really appreciated.
Then, six years ago, he released the series "Atlanta" and the world was never the same again.
The first two seasons of "Atlanta" were unlike anything else on television.
The years passed, the medium changed, other series drew inspiration from it, and meanwhile his series wandered in new directions.
Yesterday, yes aired the final episode of the series, which concluded the fourth season, and one thing did not change: "Atlanta" was and remains one of the best series of all time.
It may have started as a series about rappers, but throughout its seasons it knew how to dig into the most open wounds of society - the violence erupting in the US, cultural differences, class gaps, identity politics and much more. In front of the viewers' eyes, and more than anything it was a series about black culture.
"Atlanta" had everything from everything.
Once a drama, once surrealism, once a biting satire, once a horror film, once a sketch comedy, once a breathtaking thriller and once a Disney docu.
In retrospect, the amount of masterful episodes she provided is insanely long.
From the chilling opening episode of season 3 about the Hart family that was based on a true case, the legend of Teddy Perkins, the movie about Goofy, the parody of the black news network BAN, Mr. Chocolate's kingdom to the choice to end the series with the twist that "Newhart" used.
Everything from everything.

There is no doubt that it was one of the more intelligent series on the screen.
Challenging like a puzzle.
And if we delve deeply into the stories she told, google and read, suddenly layers upon layers of references, sayings, gestures and correspondence with reality are revealed.
Glover and the rest of the "Atlanta" team managed to convey a rare feeling - a kind of feeling that we are watching a work without filters.
A series that manages to convey the vision of its creators perfectly;
Without the intervention of managers, without considerations of what the viewers will want to see or how we will get more ratings and advertising.
Real and authentic TV.
Today every moron boasts the title "genius".
But in the present case, there is none more worthy than Donald Glover to carry around the genius with this title.
He earned it honestly.
