600,000 individuals bought (or sold) at least one stock market share during the third quarter of 2022, according to the latest dashboard from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).
They were however still 930,000 in the previous quarter, a massive drop of 35%.

In detail, the disaffection noted by the AMF is also reflected in a drop in new entrants to the stock market (39,000 only in the third quarter of 2022).
Note that the number of sellers has also decreased.
There is therefore no massive flight from individual investors: they seem rather paralyzed by the fall in the markets.
