(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 21 - "We will have a national price cap for renewables, in the sense of putting a ceiling of 180 euros per mw for energy from renewables, such as photovoltaic and wind power".
This was stated by the Minister of the Environment, Gilberto Pichetto on the Restart broadcast of Rai2, explaining that "if the price exceeded 180 euros per Mw, it would be the State that forfeited the differential part. It would be an entry rule.
Naturally we try to build the rule well to avoid commercials stop".
On the high value of the threshold, Pichetto explained that the sector "is not to be penalised, but speculation that would weigh on families must be avoided" (ANSA).
