(ANSA) - MOSCOW, NOVEMBER 21 - The purpose of the Russian military operation in Ukraine is not to provoke a regime change in Kiev.
This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov quoted by Russian agencies.
Peskov then said that Russia "wants to achieve its goals, and it will achieve them", responding to the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, who accused Moscow of not wanting to negotiate with Kiev and instead intending only to obtain a break in hostilities.
"Without a doubt, Russia will seek out those who committed this crime, who must be found and punished," the Kremlin spokesman said of the alleged execution of 10 Russian prisoners by blow to the head reported by Moscow.
