(ANSA) - MILAN, NOVEMBER 22 - From Monday Gazprom is threatening to reduce gas flows through Ukraine, the last route of Russian gas to Europe, in response to the fact that Ukraine would withhold part of the methane destined for Moldova.
"From 10am on November 28, Gazprom will start reducing the supply of gas to the Sudzha gis (compression station, ed) for transit through Ukraine by an amount equal to the daily undelivered amount," Gazprom says on its Telegram channel, accusing Kiev of having seized of 52.52 million cubic meters of gas.
About 42 million cubic meters of Russian gas pass through Ukraine every day.
