Meloni signs the maneuver: 'Courageous and with political choices'

The 35 billion economic maneuver for 2023 approved by the CDM

"I am very satisfied with the work done with this maneuver because it is not limited to accounting work but makes political choices and presents them to a government that in just a month has written and presented a maneuver that follows and tells of a political vision", she said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in the press conference after the approval of the maneuver.

"I am happy that the approach we have had, as I see it, is that of a family budget, when you deal with a family budget, if there are no resources, you don't worry about consent but about what is the right thing to do to make the family grow in the best of ways".

The prime minister recalls the increase in the flat tax to 85,000 euros and "the introduction of the 5% flat tax on productivity bonuses up to 3,000 euros against the 10% currently envisaged and goes hand in hand with an extended fringe benefit".

: out of a maneuver of 35 billion, the measures for energy are around 21 billion, obviously the two fundamental choices concern tax credits for companies , for which a credit is envisaged which is applied on part of the increase that companies have made compared to the same period of the previous year.So we confirm and increase the credits from 40 to 45% for energy companies and up to 35% for the non-energy consuming".

but with an increase mechanism up to 2000 euros but then "the increase gradually decreases to pensions over 10 times the minimum, i.e. above 5 thousand for which the 'indexing we finish at 35%," Meloni explained.
