This is equivalent to 0.28 euro cents in electricity bills”, calculates the expert.
Lighting up a Christmas tree therefore costs less than one euro and consumes very little energy.
However, lighting all the trees at the same time could create tensions on the electricity network.
"The days in December when the Ecowatt indicator will be orange or red, it will be essential to switch off your equipment to avoid unnecessary tension", reminds Rémy Rousset.
