(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOVEMBER 23 - "We have an agreement! I am very pleased to announce that the chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia, with the mediation of the EU, have agreed on measures to avoid further escalation and concentrate fully on the proposal for the normalization of their relations".
The EU high representative for foreign policy, Josep Borrell, writes it in a tweet.
"Serbia will stop issuing plates with the names of the cities of Kosovo and Kosovo will cease further actions related to the re-registration of vehicles", explains Borrell, announcing that he has invited "the parties to discuss the next steps in the coming days".
"I thank" the EU special representative for the Belgrade - Pristina dialogue "Miroslav Lajcak and the parties for their hard work".
