(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 24 - The Constitutional Court will have to establish whether the Florentine prosecutors of the Open procedure have violated Matteo Renzi's parliamentary rights, attaching to the investigation documents e-mails and chats from when he was already a senator without asking for prior authorization of Palazzo Madama.
It is the direct consequence of the decision taken today by the Consulta itself to declare admissible the conflict between state powers raised by the Senate against the magistrates of Florence on 22 February. A ruling that could have an impact on the Open trial: the gup could decide to suspend the preliminary hearing underway in Florence.
