(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 24 - Bono, born Paul David Hewson, is an exclusive guest on "Che Tempo Che Fa" by Fabio Fazio, on Sunday November 27 on Rai 3, for an interview and for a special artistic moment signed by the legendary U2 frontman.

In November his first autobiography, "Surrender - 40 songs, one story", was released worldwide, a portrait of his life in 40 chapters, each of which takes its name from a song by U2, the historic band born in Dublin that conquered the global charts selling 170 million records worldwide, winning 22 Grammy Awards and winning prestigious awards such as the Freedom of The City of Dublin and Amnesty International's Ambassador of Conscience.

A first-person account that, from his childhood in Dublin with the sudden loss of his mother when he was 14, reaches the incredible trajectory that led U2 to become one of the most important rock bands in the world, up to over 20 years of activism against AIDS and extreme poverty.

Always involved in the humanitarian field,

Bono is active above all with two important global organizations such as ONE, which fights extreme poverty and disease, and (RED), whose derivatives are donated to the global fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

In 2005 he was named "Person of the year" by Time Magazine and in 2007 he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, by virtue of his musical achievements and his commitment to humanitarian causes.
