You will have to believe us when we say that this is not an easy job, not easy at all.

To try all the new products that come out to the Israeli market (and sometimes outside of it as well), to taste in front of everyone, deliveries and more deliveries, paper bags that accumulate in the office (and at home), a never-ending feeling of satiety.

Seriously, it's harder than it looks, and no one is paying you to go to the gym, or compensating you for the FOMO that quickly develops in your mind.

For all the articles in the "New on the Shelf"

section, however, the "New on the Shelf" section, for its tasters, curious and loyal consumers, has set off again, determined and mission-oriented.

And this time - a meal that is both, a dessert that is both, and all the beer in the world.

Yes, we are very eclectic.

enjoy your meal!

World Cup boxes, Golda

The Israeli ice cream parlor chain prepared for the soccer celebration with a fitting answer, in the form of boxes compatible with watching, and soccer-flavored ice cream.

Golda's collection includes "a package for the whole team" (a kilo of ice cream, a tray of crackers and five hot cookies, 280 NIS with delivery), the "Dream Team" (a kilo of ice cream, five donuts and a tray of crackers, 278 NIS with delivery), "Sweet Victory" (a kilo of ice cream, two packages of puffs and five donuts, NIS 226 with delivery), "half package" (half a kilo of ice cream and half a kilo of yogurt, with a tray of crackers, NIS 240 with delivery), "captains package" (a kilo of ice cream and a kilo of yogurt with six toppings, NIS 208 with delivery), and a "classic package" (a kilo of ice cream and a tray of crackers, NIS 218 shipping) - all with a free soccer ball.

The latter was sent to experiment, based on the new flavor that was launched with the opening of the tournament - ice cream with salted pistachios and cashews.

The huge tray of crackers opened even before the whistle, accompanied well an entire half of football (and more), and especially went well with the sweetness of the ice cream, and balanced everything into a cold celebration.

In four words: with the guys, and also without them.

New on the shelf

There's beer, and there's that perfect meat.

Now can I have a World Cup please?

Mundial boxes, Carmela

The excellent delivery service also joins the celebration, with viewing-oriented cases, and solutions for games that require a treat.

Carmela's pair of boxes includes "I waited 4 years for the World Cup" (five Budweiser beers, a branded glass, two chips, a cheese-flavored Smash snack, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, munchies and chocolate-coated hazelnuts, NIS 139) and the " Not everyone is waiting for the World Cup" (a bottle of Kiwi Kova Sauvignon Blanc, three types of Jacobs Farm cheese, red grapes, a packet of blueberries and quality crackers from Fet in salt, NIS 189).

The first one was sent to try out even before the opening whistle, and waited patiently for the game, while providing a varied, chilled, crunchy accompaniment and above all one that leaves you on the couch, including the extra time.

In two words: Bunker in the lineup.

Mundial box, Papa John's

The global football celebration is turned by the pizzeria chain into a corrupt but sporty package.

It is actually a special shipping carton, which offers pizza (excellent as usual) on the inside, and a craft game that dispels elaborate games on the outside, in the form of a soccer field and a small ball.

If that's not enough, Papa John's is including four PlayStation 5 sets for a raffle, for those who book the World Cup specials.

In four words: devour, digest, fold, laugh.

Pizza Knapa, Pizza Hut

The big pizza chain is also riding on the World Cup (and rightly so), with special offers and a sweet launch.

This is a knapa pizza (NIS 79.90 per family tray, NIS 35 per person) created by Gilad Ventura, Pizza Hut's VP of Operations and Sales. He started his career at the chain as a cook, progressed up the corporate ladder, but did not leave the kitchen behind. The result is a special Middle Eastern with Italian roots, oily dough in a good and decadent section, warm cheese and Kadaif hairs, in a combination that forgoes excessive sweetness in favor of a punch worthy of a meal.

Apart from it, Pizza Hut offers specials in the form of complete meals for NIS 99 (cheesy bites pizza, topping and garlic bread, or XL family pizza, large Greek salad and garlic bread), deals for NIS 119 (family pizza, XL family pizza and bread garlic, or family pizza, cheese fingers, mixed salad and chocolate sticks), combinations for NIS 129 (two family pizzas with toppings and Ben & Jerry's ice cream, or three personal pizzas with toppings, three personal salads, garlic bread and three Belgian waffles).

In five words: the dessert is already heating up on the lines.

Wavy potato chips and popcorns, Strauss

The large food company is launching a new and intriguing quartet of snacks, with unprecedentedly efficient timing.

These are two versions of Wavy potato chips, a new version of the popular snack, with a natural flavor and a paprika flavor, which provides a familiar crunch with a fun wavy cut, as well as a local launch of Popcorners, crunchy, unfried corn snacks, with sea salt flavors (nice but less noticeable in the mouth ) and cheddar cheese (great and cheesy as needed).

In two words: reinforcement players.

New snacks, barn

Assem also joins the World Cup with a new quartet of snacks, in what is both an intriguing step and a necessary step.

This is a well-timed launch - and of course a special edition - of brownie-flavored cream-filled bamba (salty-sweet and moderately chocolatey), bamba-bisley barbecue mix (which combines solubility and smoky crunchiness well), beasley onion-flavored apropos (which is probably the combination we didn't know we wanted ), as well as flat pretzels flavored with onion Bisley (spicy, strong, eliminating).

These reach the shelves also in an enlarged snack case that turns into a bowl (if you need one), and also as part of a joint sale with Domino's Pizza.

In seven words: with a bowl, without a bowl, what does it matter?

Delirium Beer, A.G.T.D

Delirium Red beer (Photo: A.G.T.D.)

Delirium Tremens beer (photo: A.G.T.D.)

Perfectly timed for the group stage of the World Cup, the Belgian beer brand lands in Israel again with the help of A.G.T.D.

The happy comeback includes the best products of the Huyghe brewery, including Delirium of course, La guillotine, Floris, Blanche des neiges and Mongozo.

Price: four beers and a glass for NIS 79.90.

Among the stars sent for tasting we found Delirium Red (reddish and fruity, NIS 14.90), Delirium Tremens (strong blonde and slightly more bitter, at the same price), Delirium Nocturnum (dark and aspiring to withered chocolate), Delirium Argentum (red and citrus), Deliria (blonde -light and floral, made from malt, barley and corn), La guillotine (golden and sweet, with a balanced finish), as well as Blanche des neiges (a classic wheat beer with coriander seeds and Cursau orange peels that complete a fun and experiential sip, NIS 12.90).

In one word: Cheers!

Beer, Carrefour

The long-awaited arrival of Carrefour in Israel is beginning to show its signs, with a successful and profitable alcoholic-world move.

This is the launch of three beers - Walbergem (a strong and good wheat beer from the France-Belgium border with 6.2% alcohol, NIS 17.90 for six 250 ml bottles), Sear Brau (a peony lager from the same region with 4.2% alcohol, NIS 17.90 for six), as well as a version A lighter lager of the latter (5% alcohol, same price), light and steals focus from what is happening on the lawn. In

four words: market breaker, for real.

Mundial case, Krumbacher

The German premium beer also joins the tournament, with a special edition festive case.

The case includes the Krumbacher PILS quartet, the brewery's flagship beer since 1890, as well as a branded glass cup.

Price: NIS 24.90.

The beer itself, which is produced from natural spring water, is a golden-colored lager, with a fruity aroma and present malt flavors, a bitter taste and a very balanced sip.

In three words: a serious candidate for the final.

The capital of the World Cup, James

Staying with beer, World Cup after all: the local brewery celebrates football with a special edition that aims to integrate into the global sports experience.

This is MondiAle, a pale ale-style beer, with a little bitterness and a little more fruitiness, fun lightness and a solid 5% alcohol.

Price: NIS 12.90.

In four words: pun, but justified.

Vegan coffee liqueur, Bana drinks

And to end a whole cycle of games and drinking: the large beverage chain took advantage of the International Vegan Day to land in Israel a suitable option for non-dairy people, and basically for everyone.

This is Cafetino, a vegan and kosher coffee liqueur, which is based on coconut milk cream (NIS 99.90 for 700 ml) and offers for its 17% alcohol a very smooth sip, strengthening evening drinks (and afternoon of course) and imperceptible in its veganism.

In five words: For avoiders and reducers, but not only.
