2022-11-24T15:02:42.384Z

This equestrian film, adapted from the novel Tempête au haras by Chris Donner, evokes the desire for great escape and the long journey of reconstruction of a couple and their child.

A couple of horse breeders realize their dream of settling in a stud farm in Normandy.

A few days after the storm of 1999, a double birth made them happy: that of their new foal, Tempête, destined to become a great trotter, and that of their first child, Zoé.

The child and the animal quickly become inseparable.

Zoé, who grew up surrounded by horses trained by her father, has only one dream: to become a jockey and compete for the most prestigious prizes in the country.

But one stormy evening, when she wants to free the horses, the terrified filly knocks down the teenager who becomes a paraplegic.

Her dream shattered, the young girl will nevertheless cling on and try the impossible to reconnect with her destiny.
