(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 25 - A low pressure area that persists on the Tyrrhenian Sea will be responsible for a phase of bad weather that will involve a large part of the central-southern regions tomorrow, subsequently also favoring an intensification of the winds from the eastern quadrants over a large part of Italy: this was announced by the Civil Protection which has issued an orange alert on sectors of Campania for today and tomorrow, Saturday 26 November and, for tomorrow, an orange alert on part of Lazio, Molise and all of Sicily.
Yellow alert instead on the remaining sectors of Lazio, Campania and Molise, on part of Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany and Sardinia, on Umbria, Abruzzo, Puglia, Basilicata and Calabria.
In particular, the Civil Protection still announces, from today's evening, scattered to widespread rainfall is expected, including downpours or thunderstorms, on the Apennine areas of Emilia-Romagna, on the coastal sectors of Tuscany, on central-southern Lazio, Campania, Abruzzo, Molisee Sicily, extending, from the morning, on Calabria, Basilicata and Puglia.
The phenomena will be accompanied by heavy showers, electrical activity and strong gusts of wind.
From the early hours of tomorrow, strong storm winds with a prevailing northern or eastern component are also expected in Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio, extending to Molise, Puglia, Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily.
