Black Week anger at Jean Pierre Kraemer: fans angry – "I think it's really bad"

Normally, people get angry because of price increases - but in the case of the "Carlender" from tuner JP Kraemer, a decent discount causes trouble.

The tuner Jean Pierre "JP" Kraemer (42) is active in many areas.

In addition to his "JP Performance" workshop, he also runs the PACE car museum in Dortmund, which opened this year, and a fast-food restaurant called Big Boost Burger.

He also regularly brings out his own clothing collection and for some time the 42-year-old has also been producing his own 1:18 scale model cars.

And: He usually publishes his own calendar every year – the “Carlender”.

Again this year – but many fans are angry.

Curiously, because the tuner has lowered the price, as reported by 24auto.de.

As a rule, the tuner's calendars are not simple photographs of any tuning cars, but mostly a more complex design.

He sometimes works with artists to do this - and the printing techniques are not standard either, as he always emphasizes.

Of course, such a complex production has its price: JP Kraemer estimated 38.90 euros plus 6.90 euros shipping costs within Germany for the "Carlender" 2023. He presented it in mid-October.

Well, a calendar is a product that has to be brought to the man or woman before the start of the new year - because otherwise it is practically unsaleable.

In any case, the man from Dortmund, who recently made his autism diagnosis public, decided to halve the price of his calendar during “Black Week” for “Black Friday” (end of November) – suddenly the “Carlender” only cost 19.45 euros.

Nice for all JP fans who haven't bought a copy yet.

But those who had already struck were of course angry - they had paid twice as much.

It's not the first time that JP Kraemer has drastically reduced its Black Friday calendar.

Also in 2020 he obviously had too many unsold copies in stock.

That's why he did a lot of advertising - and finally lowered the price.

That in turn annoyed the fans back then - and the tuner was not long in coming with an angry reaction.

The tuner himself did not miss the displeasure on social media either, which is why he spoke up in an Insta story.

According to JP Kraemer, he fully understands people who are upset that the calendar has now been lowered.

But that is something that can happen again and again.

He's just trying to run the company as best he can.

"Please don't be angry." That's just 20 euros that people would have spent more.

"I'm really sorry," said the tuner.

"But sometimes I just have to do some things."
