All-you-can-eat cheese just like in the mountains, right in the heart of Paris. The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme offers a raclette menu in an ephemeral chalet

While all the luxury hotels in Paris are switching to winter time, at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, 5 rue de la Paix, the raclette machine is out.

In the middle of its inner courtyard is installed, for the ninth year in a row, the establishment has installed a low altitude mountain chalet, on the ground floor.

The concept ?

Being able to enjoy a luxury raclette, with family or friends.

The place can be privatized until the end of February and can accommodate between 6 and 12 people.

The menu is 190 euros per person, with a supplement of truffles at ten euros.

For the price, starred chef Jean-François Rouquette offers exceptional products.

Starting with an appetizer consisting of dry fennel beef sausage accompanied by a hot gin cocktail.

As a starter, it's pumpkin velouté and toasted whipped cream.

Then comes the long-awaited raclette.

And not just any: Saint Niklaus from Switzerland matured for a year.

The cheese comes in three versions: plain, smoked and wild garlic.

It is accompanied by baby potatoes and a carefully selected assortment of charcuterie.

Between sausages from Annecy cured over 8 months and hams smoked in juniper wood at low temperature.

Guaranteed pleasure for raclette fans.

To finish lightly, pastry chef Narae Kim imagined an ice cream with herbs and blueberries placed on a green chartreuse granita.

A dinner without off-piste or false note, which according to our journalist is worth the detour.
