(ANSA) - VENICE, NOVEMBER 26 - Tomorrow closes the 59th International Art Exhibition, The milk of dreams, curated by Cecilia Alemani, produced by the Venice Biennale, which this year recorded a record number of visitors.
With over 800,000 tickets sold - plus 22,498 attendances during the pre-opening - visitors marked a 35% increase in 197 opening days, compared to 173 for the 2019 edition. This is the highest attendance in 127 years history of the Venice Biennale.
