Today, the Ministry of Education conducted a specialized test for 2,500 mentors and teachers, including senior mentors, specialists, educators, subject coordinators, and those assigned to manage the central directorates in the ministry, and teachers who applied for the mentoring competition and met the conditions.
More than 1,100 educational and specialist mentors and 100 senior mentors and subject coordinators who are in charge of their work underwent the test, in addition to about 1,300 teachers who applied for the mentoring competition and met the conditions from various governorates.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabaa, stated during his tour of the test halls that the goal is to rearrange the educational system, which includes mentors and various departments, in a way that enables monitoring negatives and errors and developing performance, indicating that there is a series of measures that will come later that include developing teachers’ skills as well, within the framework of Developing supervision and guidance tasks, developing skills and expanding knowledge.
It is noteworthy that the test, which was conducted for the first time in more than ten years, was based on the principle of testing abilities, developing and empowering skills.
