The 4 new entries are in Lombardy Castione della Presolana and Moltrasio, Morrovalle in the Marche and Picinisco in Lazio.
With the new certifications in Lombardy there are 18 villages awarded for their tourist-environmental qualities.
The two new flags have been assigned to Castione della Presolana, a town at the foot of the mountain in the Bergamo Pre-Alps;
it is a naturalistic paradise, frequented in summer and winter by those who love the mountains, nature and sport.
The other awarded village is Moltrasio, on Lake Como, which has an interesting historical heritage and natural beauty to be discovered through 4 themed itineraries: water, stone, history and panorama.
With the awarding of the prize to Morrovalle, in the province of Macerata, the Marche confirms itself as the third most "orange" region in Italy
with 25 awarded villages.
Morrovalle, a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini mountains, is a treasure trove of history, culture, traditions, food and wine in a landscape of great beauty.
Finally, with Picinisco, an Apennine village in the Comino Valley, the Lazio region reaches 21 award-winning villages.
In Picinisco, which rises on the Lazio side of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, nature is the absolute protagonist and is combined with a rich and quality food and wine offer.
The 4 villages, together with those where the Orange Flags fly throughout Italy, come together to offer an authentic
