She is a Rimon graduate, singer and composer, and has already managed to perform with Yoni Bloch in Caesarea and in the past she even participated in the backing choir for Leveri Lieder.
Now Yasmin Debosh feels mature enough to stand on stage alone and embarks on her own musical path.
"The thoughts disappear" is the first single from the debut album on the road.
The song was part of a pilot for the Rimon school where she attended.
The project was accompanied by Avi Elbaz (Tamar Eisenman, Hadeg Nahsh and more), and these days, she performs with her original material in Tel Aviv and the surrounding area.
It is an acoustic ballad that talks about a search for love, which finally turns out to be a search for self.
"This song was written at a time when I had no love, out of the wish and hope to find the person with whom I would feel at home, with whom I would feel myself," Debosh tells Israel Hayom.
"When I recorded it, Abi Elbaz took me for a conversation just before we took a vocal take. He asked me how I imagined the first frame of the music video and I answered quite quickly in the city, at sunrise.
"In the recording, we tried to combine the desperation and renunciation of the search, with the hope that something will change, that something will come," she shares the complex state of mind behind the inspiration and message of the song.
Yasmin Dabush - thoughts disappear
"Together with the rays of the stunning photographer, we built a script and the idea suddenly became a reality. In addition, it turned out that my whole family was involved in making this music video. My father, my brother and I folded the origami shells, my sister helped with the ideas and the photos themselves, and my mother agreed to participate in the music video."
You talk about the combination of despair and hope for love. Do you have any advice for people who have already given up?
"Although I'm young and don't claim to have a great understanding of love, I think it's always worthwhile to expand the social circle through activities that create encounters with people, and not to be afraid of being exposed or disappointed. As soon as you despair or give up, love just moves away.
"I'm sure that as you get older it becomes much more difficult, but love exists everywhere. Sometimes you just have to open your eyes and listen."
The launch show for Yasmin Dabush's debut single will take place on December 12 at Levantin 7, Tel Aviv.
