From the early hours of the morning in the Ponticelli district of Naples a vast anti-Camorra operation has been underway by the Carabinieri and the State Police: soldiers and policemen are implementing a restraining order, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the Local District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against 66 people believed to be serious suspects of mafia-type association, extortion and possession of weapons.
These are suspects believed in various capacities to be linked to the Camorra cartel called De Luca - Bossa - Casella - Minichini - Rinaldi - Reale, criminal families who do illicit business in the eastern part of the Neapolitan capital.
