(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, NOVEMBER 28 - In the Pd house, "if in this congress we recover our identity the next day it will also be easier to decide on the basis of the program agreements with whom to ask. Today I would not worry whether to stay with the 5 Star Movement or with the Third Pole. On the other hand, I would certainly not entrust, exclusively, one to represent the left and the other to represent the moderates".
This was stated by the president of the Emilia-Romagna Region and candidate for the secretariat of the Democratic Party, Stefano Bonaccini, speaking on the 'Mattino 5' broadcast on Canale 5, replying to those who asked him with whom between Movement 5 Stars or Third Pole could he find unity of purpose.
"The Democratic Party - he argued - was born to be a large center-left party: alone it cannot be enough but we are certainly, and we must go back to being, the pivot of a new center-left. Now - concluded Bonaccini - we should oppose: do it well, not rude , not against it because it must be against it regardless but on the merits and, when critical, always have an alternative proposal".
