Walburga S. in the dock: was very jealous

The district court in Mönchengladbach has convicted Walburga S. of manslaughtering her 70-year-old partner.
The 71-year-old perpetrator must now be in prison for six years and ten months because of the deadly knife attack, the broadcaster WDR and the »Rheinische Post« reported unanimously.
S. admitted in the process to having killed her partner after a heated argument in the kitchen of the shared apartment.
She stabbed her victim Franziska H., who bled to death as a result of the attack, 26 times.
In the process, S. had stated that her partner had made fun of her jealousy.
As a court expert reported according to WDR, the woman was less guilty at the time of the crime, she suffered from depression and fear of loss.
Chamber assumes action in the affect
After the act, an emergency doctor found S. in her bed, next to it empty packs of pills and a suicide note.
After the crime, the elderly woman tried to take her own life – but the woman was saved.
Originally there was even a murder charge against S. in the room.
However, the chamber did not follow this, it assumed an act of passion and decided on manslaughter.
It is extremely rare for older women to commit homicides.
