(ANSA) - BEIJING, NOVEMBER 28 - The Hong Kong Stock Exchange collapsed by more than 3% this morning, after demonstrations across China against Beijing's strict 'zero Covid' policy.
The Hang Seng index dropped 3.26% to 17,000.23 points at the start.
The composite of Shanghai - the largest Chinese megalopolis, where clashes have broken out with groups of protesters - lost 1.5% to 3,055.29 points, while that of Shenzhen lost 1.54% to 1,953.71.
