Not for male Gus.
He wants his present immediately.
To soften his owners, he tries a typical look.
For most people, Christmas is the happiest time of the year.
Some start with the festive Christmas decorations as early as mid-November to ensure comfort and a Christmas atmosphere.
Gifts and meal planning are also fixed well in advance, so that nothing goes wrong on December 24th.
Pets are also included in the planning – after all, they are family members.
Shayne Brock from Baltimore (largest city in the US state of Maryland) is really looking forward to Christmas.
With her, not only is the decoration weeks in advance, but the presents are already hanging in small bags in front of the fireplace.

And that's exactly what pug male Gus is aiming for.
Much to his master's chagrin.
Because the four-legged friend only has his new toy in mind and tries the "if-I-stare-long-enough-then-I-get-it-too" method.
The master captures the funny situation in a short video and shares it on TikTok.
He writes: "When your girlfriend puts out the Christmas stocking and the dog is now counting the days until Christmas.
He doesn't take his eyes off it and keeps staring at the stocking."
No wonder, there is also a great cuddly toy in it.
You should avoid chocolate and sweets as a gift for your dog.

No wonder, because most pet owners just love to give their pets a treat at Christmas.

Some users are rightly wondering why Shayne has already hung the toy for male Gus in front of the fireplace and not until Christmas Eve?
The master has a clear answer to that: "Because my girlfriend is extremely excited about Christmas and just can't hold back".
