(ANSA) - BERLIN, NOVEMBER 29 - "Half of the EU will be in recession next year".
This was stated by the president of the IMF, Kristalina Georgiova, in Berlin at a press conference with Olaf Scholz and the presidents of the main international economic institutes.
A third of the world will be in a recession, he explained.
"The forecasts of the slowdown in global growth for the third year in a row, forecast by the IMF, will materialize," she added, stating that this will already be visible in the fourth quarter of this year.
