There are often discrepancies when the package is delivered.
The recipients are not always satisfied, but a DHL messenger only apparently did something wrong.
Munich – If you want to have a package sent, you can choose between several logistics companies.
Especially in the weeks before Christmas, the big names in the industry have a lot to do.
There is certainly no shortage of work for Hermes, DHL, DPD, UPS and their competitors at the end of the year.
But there are always some problems, especially for the parcel recipients.
There are many reasons why delivery sometimes does not run smoothly.
In one case, a DHL courier interpreted the package drop-off location individually, to the annoyance of the recipient.
Another time, a Hermes deliverer left a completely confused note.
DHL messenger leaves a notification slip with the recipient – the package is “near Chemnitz”
The labeled delivery notifications are often filled out incorrectly by the parcel deliverer.
A DHL note now also gave this impression.
A Twitter user posted a picture of it.
This DHL note raised questions.

The DHL courier had left the note "near Chemnitz" in the field on the notification card that had to be filled out.
A statement that initially leaves a lot of room for confusion.
And this raises the question: how should a recipient find their DHL package if it was delivered to Chemnitz?
The city in Saxony with almost 250,000 inhabitants is not exactly small.
And if the area around Chemnitz is meant, the supposedly imprecise description of the storage location does not exactly facilitate the search.
"Great, my package is in Chemnitz," the author commented on his tweet.
But he had put a crucial note behind this sentence.
Parcel recipient resolves confusion about DHL notes – messenger did his job flawlessly
"That's my neighbor's name," wrote the Twitter user, dispelling the first suspicion that the DHL parcel carrier could not have done his job well when delivering.
Rather, he had written down the name of the deputy recipient with absolute precision.
For the DHL customer, the matter was clear, he could assign the storage location of his package without a doubt.

Another case showed that criticism of the work of a parcel deliverer sometimes comes too early.
