(ANSA) - BEIJING, NOVEMBER 30 - New clashes broke out last night in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong, against the anti-Covid measures that have been affecting the city for weeks as part of efforts to contain the outbreaks of infection.
According to videos posted on social media in Mandarin, security personnel in white pandemic overalls formed a shoulder-to-shoulder barrier, sheltering under riot shields, to protect themselves from throwing objects and make their way through Haizhu District, with 1.8 million residents and many migrant workers.
About ten people were taken away by the police with their hands tied with cable ties.
