(ANSA) - BEIJING, NOVEMBER 30 - South Korea and Japan have scrambled their military jets against the detection of Chinese and Russian warfighters near their respective airspaces.
The Seoul military reported that two Chinese H-6 bombers repeatedly entered the South Korean air defense zone off the south and northeast coasts starting at 5.50 local time.
They reentered the area hours later from Japan, joined by six Russian warplanes, including TU-95 bombers and SU-35 fighters.
Tokyo's Defense Ministry mentioned two Chinese bombers and two suspected Russian planes in action over the Sea of Japan.
