(ANSA) - BEIJING, NOVEMBER 30 - Signs of easing of anti-Covid measures in Guangzhou, the capital of wealthy Guangdong, where new clashes were recorded overnight between residents and police over draconian restrictions to fight a wave of infections.

The districts of Panyu, Liwan, Tianhe, Conghua and Huadu have revoked the pandemic control areas, while that of Haizhu, the most affected by the virus outbreaks, has allowed "qualified close contacts" to be placed in home quarantine from today, according to as communicated by the local authorities.
