EU to Musk, 'enormous work to be done against disinformation'

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOVEMBER 30 - Twitter still has "a lot of work to do" to "implement transparent policies, significantly strengthen content moderation, protect freedom of speech, address disinformation with determination and limit targeted advertising" according to EU rules.

This is the warning that the EU Commissioner for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton, addressed to Elon Musk via videoconference.

   “All of this requires the use of AI and sufficient human resources,” Breton highlighted.

    The two agreed that the services of the EU Commission will carry out a stress test at the Twitter headquarters in early 2023. (ANSA).
