The American group Paramount Global (ex-ViacomCBS) is strengthening a little more in France.
After launching PlutoTV there last year, its free streaming television offer, it inaugurates from this Thursday, December 1, its new paid streaming service Paramount +.
It is a Hollywood heavyweight that is entering the French subscription video market.
But in an extremely tense competitive environment.
The new platform will have to fight to exist alongside the behemoths Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV+ or even newcomers such as Universal+… The Lionsgate+ platform has already thrown in the towel in France, proof that places are expensive.
