(ANSA) - MOSCOW, NOVEMBER 30 - Pope Francis "has fallen victim to propaganda".
This is how the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov commented on the Pontiff's statements who in an interview with the Jesuit magazine 'America' had spoken of particular cruelties in Ukraine by Chechen and Buryat soldiers.
"Everyone is deeply religious" among Chechen fighters, writes Kadyrov on Telegram, "and every fighter knows that in times of war one must not forget honour, dignity and even respect for the enemy".
"It is shameful - he concludes - that a religious personality famous throughout the world does not know the attitude of Muslims towards the enemy".
