We remained, at the end of season 2, on an undecided Emily on the sentimental level, caught between a romance with the handsome Alfie and a fiery declaration to Gabriel, who had meanwhile reconciled with Camille, causing a cliff of a most savory dramatic intensity.
The young American was also stuck at a crossroads in her professional life, torn between her desire to work for Sylvie in her new company or to remain faithful to her former boss Madeline.

This trailer therefore depicts an Emily struggling with doubt and in full internal conflict, even speaking of an “existential crisis”, in a “so American” melody.
Although the character of Alfie seems more present here than in season 2, Emily's attraction to Gabriel occupies the foreground of this trailer, even if a major obstacle named Camille will complicate the deal.
We are also offered a glimpse of Parisian filming locations (notably the Molitor swimming pool) but also Provençal, as well as flashy costumes from the series, which fans are now used to.
The cast brings together the same protagonists: Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Ashley Park (Mindy), Camille Razat (Camille), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine) and Lucien Laviscount (Alfie).
Creator Darren Star also returns to lead this third season.
Emily will also sign for a fourth season, the shooting of which has not yet started, but which should follow the same schedule with a broadcast at the end of 2023. To find out if Lily Collins will finally stay in Paris, go to December 21 on Netflix.
