The US Senate passed a bipartisan law to federally protect same-sex and interracial marriages.

Now the provision, which had , commenting on the passage of the law in the Senate with 61 votes in favor and 36 against, passes to the House which should approve it by the end of the year, perhaps as early as next week.
"With the bipartisan passage of the Respect for Marriage Act by the Senate, the United States is close to reaffirming a fundamental truth: love is love, and Americans should have the right to marry the one they love," he said US President Joe Biden.
