Goth brat Wednesday Addams is proving to be a sinisterly fantastic investment for Netflix, as her new series surpasses Stranger Things for the most-streamed English-language series in its first week.
As of today, Wednesday, it is already clear that the Netflix series "Wednesday" has set a new streaming record for the streaming market leader (here is the criticism of the first "Wednesday" episode).
In the first week since its November 23 premiere date, the Addams Family series racked up 341.23 million hours of streaming time across over 50 million homes, topping the throne of Stranger Things' fourth season, which clocked in at 335 million hours held the top spot among the English-language formats.
However, the all-time record holder “Squid Game” from South Korea, whose giant squid size of 571.8 million is still the global leader, remains unaffected.
