No longer larger than life:

But instead of celebrating the exciting event, Wilson became the focus of an angry attack from hundreds of surfers, who were angry at the fact that the size range ranges from XS to XL only.
Wilson herself was overweight most of her life, until two years ago she changed her lifestyle dramatically and went on a diet.
She has lost 40 kilos so far, and surfers are outraged by her lack of consideration for the variety of sizes.

She also added that there is a real irony in the fact that she produces wine that she herself could not buy as a customer a few years ago.

"Former fat people really like to pretend fat people don't exist after they've lost weight," wrote another angry surfer.
"This has become a real epidemic," warned another surfer.
"Fat women who have lost weight now have themselves become chauvinistic, the same chauvinism that made them hate themselves when they were in this situation," added another surfer.
"Now they want to distance themselves from everything related to fat, because our society still hates women who lost weight for being fat in the first place," wrote others.
"She completely disconnects herself from the person she was. She used to have a very successful line of plus size clothing because she knew how hard it is to find clothes in these sizes. It's extra disappointing," wrote a surfer, referring to Wilson's collaboration with the Torrid brand, and the plus size clothing line The successful size called Rebel Wilson x Angels that she released in 2017.
Wilson, who probably did not expect the resulting storm, did not remain indifferent, and commented on things on Instagram.
She tried to lower the height of the flames and provide explanations to the angry surfers.
