In video, Oumy Bruni Garrel, 13, holds her first major film role in Neneh Superstar

The daughter of Valeria Bruni Tedeschi and Louis Garrel plays a young black girl, a student at the dance school of the Paris Opera, who confronts the rigidity of the classical dance environment.


The 13-year-old daughter of Louis Garrel and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi Oumy will star in

Neneh Superstar in January:

a film about the world of classical dance, in which a little black girl joins the Opera school from Paris.

Despite her enthusiasm, the support of her parents and the director of the Opera, she quickly comes face to face with the rigidity of this environment and with the formidable Madeleine Belage (Maïwenn), a school principal who guarantees traditions who does not seem to recognize her talent, and with whom she is connected by a mysterious secret.

Neneh will have to redouble his efforts to find a place for himself within the prestigious institution.
