An applause, the Hymn of Mameli and the Ode to Joy greeted the entrance of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella to the Ariosto Theater in Reggio Emilia, where the inauguration ceremony of the 847th academic year of the University of Studies of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the 25th anniversary of the Reggio Emilia branch of the University.
The ceremony was also attended by the minister of the University Anna Maria Bernini, the president of the Emilia-Romagna Region Stefano Bonaccini, the mayor of Reggio Emilia Luca Vecchi and other regional and city authorities.
