(ANSA) - TOKYO, DEC 01 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the session on the rise, following the acceleration of the stock indexes on WallStreet and the sharp recovery of the Nasdaq's technological listing, with investors anticipating a slowdown in monetary tightening in the US, after the indications of the president of the American Federal Reserve Jerome Powell.
At the start, the reference index Nikkei advanced by 1.06%, to 28,264.38, adding 295 points.
On the currency market, the yen gained ground against the dollar at 137.30, and against the euro at 143.20.
