Who among us does not love roasted potatoes for a festive dinner?
A search on Google will bring you thousands of results for recipes and tips for roasting and preparing them in the oven.
We have also often shared with you secrets, tricks and methods for their preparation from famous chefs like Gordon Ramsay or from food bloggers.
But recently a tip has been added from an entirely less unexpected source than the new British King, Charles III himself.
During his visit to Bradford, the King revealed to the common people his winning tip for roast potatoes just like he himself likes to eat.

So what is his tip?
Well, Charles recommends not putting oil on the potatoes when you put them in the oven.
He recommends roasting them alongside the goose or duck in the oven (or chicken in our case) and using the fat from the meat to spread over the potatoes.
Rebecca English from the British "Daily Mail" uploaded a short video of the king's visit and tweeted: "The king gives his tip for perfect potatoes in the oven (bake them with the fat of the meat). It's hard to resist the smell of it."
The king's favorite breakfast was previously published.
"He eats a healthy meal. We would make him homemade bread, a bowl of fruit and fresh juices," said chef Graham Newbold, a former member of the royal staff.
"Everywhere in the world Charles went, the breakfast box went with him. Six different types of honey, some special discounts, dried fruit and anything special. He used to insist that the cheese and biscuits be heated to a certain temperature at the end of each meal, and preferred that the staff keep a warming tray nearby place. He was meticulous about everything," a royal insider told MyLondon.
