(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 01 - The breeding of Lipizzan horses obtains Unesco recognition.
ANSA learns it in the context of the 17th session of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee underway in Rabat, Morocco, until tomorrow and chaired by the Italian Pier Luigi Petrillo.
The recognition of the Lipizzan horses, it is underlined, is a multinational candidacy that gives light to an ancient but still alive tradition that unites different peoples with the same cultural identity linked to love for animals.
In the hall, in the presence of the Italian ambassador to Unesco Massimo Riccardo, a big round of applause welcomed the recognition.
