Audi will be relying on its own charging service for electromobility in the future.
The Audi e-tron charging service will be discontinued for the new system.
Customers can then choose from three tariffs.
Plagued by chip problems and delivery bottlenecks, Audi recently even had to correct the forecasts for 2022.
It involves sales losses in the billions.
In the meantime, the car manufacturer has also commented on the consequences
of the bankruptcy statements from the boardroom to

Good news comes at just the right time.
Audi enters the market with its own charging service.
As the group reports, the charging service "Audi Charging" will start on January 1, 2023 in 27 countries - including Germany.
An expansion is expected later this year.
With this, those responsible want to serve the three pillars of electromobility even better: “Vehicles with a long range and the ability to quickly recharge the high-voltage battery – and uncomplicated access to a dense network of charging points.”
Audi is working with VW on its own charging service
The fact that the car industry is in crisis and that Audi could be 50 percent on the brink of collapse is somewhat pushed into the background with a view to the group's own charging system.
According to its own statements, “Audi Charging” should offer access to around 400,000 charging points
“which are operated by more than 800 CPOs (Charge Point Operators).
This also includes around 1,900 high-performance chargers (HPC) from the provider IONITY, which enable fast charging with up to 350 kilowatts of power, especially along the main traffic routes

Audi receives support from the parent company.
For its new charging offer, the company will therefore work together with Volkswagen Group Charging GmbH and its Elli brand.
However, the cooperation also means replacing the Audi e-tron charging service that was launched four years ago.
Three tariffs for customers with the Audi charging service
Audi offers its customers three tariffs to choose from.
If you rarely have to charge on the go, you could get the plus tariff, which costs 7.99 euros a month.
It says: "This offers cheap prices for AC and DC charging stations and pays off if at least 48 kilowatt hours of energy are charged at a DC station per month."

On the other hand, if you have to charge your car more often on the go, you should get the tariff with a monthly basic fee of 14.99 euros.
Owners of an Audi Stromer have the greatest advantage.
There is a flat rate for this.
In order to win even more customers for Audi, the Ingolstadt-based car manufacturer “takes over the basic fee of the Pro tariff for one year when you buy a fully electric car”.
