Sat.1 accelerates Luke Mockridge's TV comeback.

Originally, the private broadcaster had announced that Mockridge would be seen in a show called "The best comedians in Germany" in early 2023 - the other line-up includes Chris Tall, Dieter Nuhr and Kaya Yanar.

However, an appearance in the main evening program on December 9, 2022 has already been inserted.

As reported by the media service "DWDL", among others, the current stage program Mockridges will show on that Friday evening at 8:15 p.m.: "A Way Back to Luckyland".

In 2021, SPIEGEL published research into allegations by several women who said he had harassed them.

His ex-girlfriend Ines Anioli accused him of raping her.

Mockridge denies all allegations, the investigation into the allegation of rape was discontinued due to a lack of sufficient suspicion, because in the end there was testimony against testimony.

Mockridge's lawyer had initially sued the Cologne Regional Court against the reporting.

According to the verdict, four sentences had to be deleted, but overall the court rated the reporting as permissible.

The Hamburg district court was different, where Mockridge next complained: the judges demanded the deletion of central parts because it was about inadmissible suspicion reporting.

SPIEGEL has appealed against the ban.

With the recording of the stand-up comedy show, Sat.1 competes with "König Fußball", whose power over the TV viewing figures at the Winter World Cup in Qatar seems to be less unrestricted than usual.

According to "DWDL", the broadcaster had originally announced a repetition of the ranking show "111 chaotic colleagues" against the competition of a World Cup quarterfinal game.

Now one apparently dares to give a more complex program content a chance at the time slot.

The response to the program change was divided on social media, in which Sat.1 had called for the end of the collaboration with Mockridge under the hashtag #ConsequencesForLuke.

Comedy writer Miguel Robitzky tweeted three trash can emojis.

The sports presenter Andrea Kaiser, on the other hand, posted three party faces.
