What size bunting to choose?

Les nids d’ange sont généralement utilisés jusqu’à l’âge de 4 ou 6 mois. Dans l’idéal, il doit permettre à votre enfant de se sentir parfaitement à l’aise. Un nid d’ange trop petit pourrait en effet nuire à la qualité de son sommeil. Le coton, surtout lorsqu’il est labellisé, représente un gage de qualité et de durabilité, même si le polyester est aujourd’hui utilisé dans la plupart des modèles. En fonction de la naissance prévue de bébé, choisissez un tissu et une épaisseur adaptés. Pour l’hiver, privilégiez un nid d’ange épais et cosy, si possible doublé en polaire, tandis que pour la mi-saison, un nid d’ange en polaire simple ou en tissu respirant sera suffisant.

Contrairement au nid d’ange qui peut être utilisé en intérieur, la chancelière n’est à utiliser qu’en balade. Elle est en effet plus chaude, plus encombrante et plus épaisse et votre bébé risquerait d’avoir beaucoup trop chaud en intérieur. La chancelière est par ailleurs toujours équipée d’ouvertures pour passer les sangles, alors que cela reste optionnel avec le nid d’ange.

Le nid d’ange : une utilisation plus polyvalente

Le nid d’ange, quant à lui, peut aussi bien être utilisé en intérieur qu’en extérieur. Souple et peu encombrant, il pourra facilement maintenir bébé au chaud lorsqu’il dort encore à son retour de balade. Évidemment, en raison de sa forme, il sera conseillé de ne pas l’utiliser pour les siestes et pour la nuit, et de le remplacer par une gigoteuse, par exemple.
