Christmas: crazy prices. For trees +40%, panettone +37%

(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 03 - A more expensive than usual Christmas awaits Italian consumers, called to deal with the very strong price increases of all products linked to the end of the year holidays.

Codacons sounded the alarm, which compared the price lists of the main commercial chains in force in December 2021 with the current ones.

"The first nasty surprise comes on the front of pandoro and panettone. For industrial ones - he explains - there have been increases on average of +37%, with peaks of +59% for some brands".

But it is also dear-tree: prices have increased by about 40%.
