Extend the duration of the licensing agreements for the TV rights of professional sports leagues, including Serie A football, regulated by the Melandri Law from three to five years: the proposal is inserted as an amendment to dl Aiuti quater in two identical amendments, one presented by three Forza Italia senators including the president of Lazio, Claudio Lotito, and one by Daniele Manca, of the Democratic Party.
The amendments, to the article of the decree on provisions on sport, propose that the duration of the contracts relating to the three-year period 2021-2024 "may be extended up to a maximum of two years".
